This would be your last blog for the semester. You had begun the semester by writing about yourself, Now I would like you to end the semester by writing something about yourself. It is very easy to pick out our weaknesses (shortcomings); however, it is not very easy to reflect on what we like about ourselves. For this blog, please do some self-reflection and make a list of all the good things about yourself. Do not rush this work. Take your time and write all that you like about yourself. Then put the points you listed in a paragraph form. Please elaborate on each of the points and explain why you like a certain quality that you possess. You may give examples from your life or opinion of others about that personality trait in you. Each one of us is special, and we would like to know about each other. What is my name ? my name is Thinh.Where am from ? I am from Vietnam.How do I look ? I am look nice,crazy,and funny...and so on questions that I want to ask myself also let you know more and more a bout me again even we are have been together in school for long time,I am scare that you will forget me,and I am care about we are not study together in next semester,so sad to say that guys but I have no choice to do that,please if we are not studying together next semester just keep in you mind that we are the best friend and always love each other ok,so listen to me again and remember me by something I am going to tell you now,I am a very friendly person,I always want to help people around me in each situations,I have a skills in singing,communicate with people,understanding things and people,too.I can guest the ideas form you mind even you are lie to me,I want to hear lies when I know exactly the true so do not lie me ok,I can dancing too,when I am listening to the music I can dance even I dance not attractive Lol,but I will try the best I can because of my funny,I want to stay alone when I am sad,at that moments I do not want to talk to anyone,just in my room or somewhere nobody see me,when I happy I talk a lot,I talk everything because I want to make people near me happy.Whatever,I want to do I always plan on it,it like where,when,how,who...that is the ways my parents taught me when I was a child,I want to hang out with someone I like,it is not with everyone just some ones,if I ask them to eat out some places that is I fell they are my lose friends,I like soup,any kinds of soup...a lot of things I want to tell you about me,but now just like that,let get together at the restaurants I will tell you more,thank you so much for reading my crazy stories,I hope you guys will understand me more than what I havve said and enjoy about that,have a great day !!!

DeleteI believe that my classmates remember that I'm from Cuba, and I have been living in Houston for three years. Also, I have been studying English for one year and a half in Lone Star. When this year(2017) started, I put a difficult goal for me. It was learning English like people that were born here. I know it's hard, and I should study. In addition, I always told, "never say never." I think that people need to overcome themselves. Furthermore, in my free time, I like to go to the gym, and I like to travel and meet new places. For example, in Spring break, I went to New Orleans, and I had an unforgettable experience. It 's very special place, and also the populations are charmed and friendly people. For instance, in my next short vacation when I will finish Spring classes, I will like to go to Austin o Destin beach in Florida because many friends talked about theses interesting places. I hope to see everybody in Summer classes or Fall classes.

DeleteAs you know, my name is Carlos Ayllon and I am from Venezuela. This was my first semester at Lone star UP and it was a great experience. I have learned a lot of English and cultures as well. I enjoy to learn and to know about new things; it doesn't matter if is English, cultures, or history. I am not as young as many of my classmates, but I feel like them in the fact that I have a young spirit. However, in the beginning, I am shy, and I prefer to listen to before to talk, guess I have to improve that, but it's how I am! As I said before, I like to learn and know about new things, so I like to travel and visit new places, So far, I have visited some cities such as; Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and New Orleans. The city that I have a lot of fun was New Orleans (you should go with your friends). Also, I enjoy to work out, running or do any physical activity, it reduces my stress and is healthy. Finally, I think that as a person I have improved, and I have done many friends in Lone Star UP. I hope I have taught something to them about me and my country. I am always talking about the Venezuela's situation and at the same time I practice my English because I post in English to explain to everybody what happens in Venezuela.
